To prevent frizz, most people apply a serum while their hair is still wet. Not only is serum effective in preventing frizz but it is also great in removing tangles, making the hair easy to comb even when wet. Hair serum contains different moisturizing ingredients like soybean oil which effectively coats the hair strands, leaving it smooth and shiny.

Part your hair, as you comb it out. Try a semi-cold rinse, this will seal your hair cuticle, making it look extra shiny. Let your hair drip dry after your shower, but don't comb it through any more than you already did.

Avoid stress and have regular healthy foods containing proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates. Do not skip breakfast and take timely regular sleep. Drink plenty of water to wash out the toxins from your body.

Shea butter is great for preventing frizz. This is because it also tends to seal the broken cuticles and gives your locks the much needed moisture it needs. Shea butter as well as the herbal oil will also make your locks softer and more manageable.

Straightening will help in having control over the frizz and you require retaining the condition as such till the end of the day by using frizz-free spray or mousse. There are numerous hair care products available specially formulated to treat the frizzy hair.

The best way to care for wet hair is to air dry it without combing. Use your towel only to blot out the extra moisture so you don't drip all over the floor, but do it gently. Just loosely wrap the towel on your head and let it absorb the moisture. Do not rub your towel aggressively on your hair. Excessive friction leads to hair breakage.
