Tips to Create the Perfect Smokey Eyes Look

Smokey eyes continues to be the "it" look throughout the seasons and you too can be more knowledgeable on how to master this look. Go from simple to sultry using these tricks.
You will require Eyeliner, Makeup brushes, Mascara, Eye primer, 2 Shadows: One light, one darker and here is how you can get those smokey eyes. Begin by applying a light shade of eyeshadow or mineral concealer to the under eye area, and all over the top lid. Keep your eyelids oil-free to avoid them from melting into your eyelid crease.

Start off with an eyeliner that is similar in color of your desired eye look. Ex: If you want black, brown, or gray eyes, use the exact color eyeliner. Make sure that when you're drawing the line on the lids, the middle section has a thicker line.

The next step is choosing a light, base eyeshadow color to apply on top of your lids and your eyeliner. Some really nice options for hues are a light champagne color, very light, silvery gray or an off-white pearl color. Apply the base color to your eyelid, getting lighter as you get closer to your brows. Don't overdo it, because the whole point of the base color is just to provide a shimmery shadow to the smokey eyes.

Smoky eyes will make you look more beautiful. No matter what your eye shape is, this sexy eye make-up will look fabulous on your face. The newest version of the smoky eye is a purple shimmering with silver or gold accents and strengthened by hints of black. You can make up by yourself because it is so easy and simple.

Remember when applying makeup to play up your eyes or lips, never both at the same time.Use a wet-dry brush when applying a lighter eye shadow. Encircle the eye area ensuring that you soften and go outward to blend the makeup.

You can also line the lower lid but use kohl or crayon pencil for this instead of a liquid eye liner. Smudge the ends of the liner at the outer edge near the wing into the shadow to get the perfect looking smoky eyes.

Line both the top and bottom rims with an eye pencil. Use a Heavy line the top of the eye and do a small line underneath paying close attention to going into the lash line itself.
