Best Methods To Cure Aching Eyes

Wash Frequently:

A great way to negate aches and pains is to jump in the shower. So find your shower and wash some of that stank off your body. Cold or hot water is your personal preference.Eye care is a lifelong process. It begins as a child and continues through life. Prescriptions should be up to date and annual checkups are in order for everyone.

Blink It:

In this electronic age, many of us spend a good deal of time staring at a computer screen. This can irritate even mild cases of dry eyes. When you are concentrating, you tend not to blink as much.

Not blinking as frequently will make eye moisture evaporate rapidly. Ever so often, look away from your computer or television and take a blink break. Your eyes will thank you.If you have to use your eyes for a long period of time and experience strain on vision you should take frequent brief brakes.

Close your eyes for a couple of minutes, blink more frequently and look away from the computer monitor or book and focus on something else in different distances. There are other vision improvement exercises you can do too. You can massage your temples or around the eyes.

When your body is lacking sufficient slumber, the moisture - including, but not limited to saliva - throughout will start to diminish. With this, one of the first places that dry up are the tear ducts. Without proper lubrication throughout the tear ducts, you will likely feel a constant need to scratch your eyes out - for lack of a better term.In the morning when you wake up, before you do anything else, work up some saliva in your mouth and then spit it into a glass of clean water.

Wait for about 30 minutes then check the water. One of four things may happen. If there are strings coming down from the spit floating in the water or if the water is cloudy or speckled then you may have Candida. If you don't have candida the saliva should just float on top and the water should stay clear.

Avoid Unnecessary Use of Computers or Televisions:

Cutting down on screen time includes watching television as well as staring at a computer screen. These activities can result in eyestrain and dry eyes. It could also affect your long distance vision. Another side affect of too much screen time is headaches and body aches and pains such as neck and back pain. By cutting down on your screen time you will not only help aid the health of your eyes, but also the health of your entire body.

Avoid Using Artificial Light:

Eye strain may be caused by improper lighting, excessive glaring at the computer screen, bad position of the computer screen, or difficulty reading copy material. Artificial tears also help since strain can lead to eye dryness and re-moistening your eyes - either artificial tears or by blinking - is a great way to ease your tight eye muscles.A good exercise for relieving eye strain is to lie down, close the eyes, and put a cold compress over your eyes and let it for about ten minutes. People who suffer from eye strain should get enough sleep every night to lessen the symptom.

Coriander Juice:

Juicing is a good foundation for a healthy diet. If you are going to be using juicing as the foundation of your diet, then you should plan your menu around the juices you are going to be drinking.

Carrot Juice:

Carrot is rich of Vitamin A, B1, and C which are good for myopia or farsightedness, nearsightedness, and astigmatism. The root is also able to cure poor night vision and eye inflammation.

Cucumber on Eyelids:

You can apply sliced cucumbers directly to your eyes or you can use cotton pads that have been soaked in cucumber juice. Cover your eyes for about 15-20 minutes. This is long enough for the juice to produce a cooling effect and reduce the puffiness and darkness under your eyes. Apply cucumber juice on the black circles with cotton for 2-3 weeks regularly.
