Aloe Vera

Aloe is great for cooking burns or other similar kinds of burns. If you have aloe growing naturally, cut off a leaf and the steam and peel the outer layer. Place the peeled leaf directly on the burn. Leave for a few minutes and remove gently. After removing you will notice that a gel has been left behind. Leave this on and bandage. You can do this a couple of times a day for 2 or 3 days.

For minor burns, you can cool with water over the affected area gently. To do this, use a cold compress or place it in the area of bowl of cool water. A word of warning: do not use the faucet on full force! Only use cool water, and not ice cold water.
