Home Remedies for Cold and Flu



In every season changes there will be cold and flu which is common problem these days.To cure these cold and flu i have some great home remedies for cold and flu as given below:

Drink Lots of Fluids

You can Drink Lots of Fluids for good hydration that helps the moisturing of nose and makes mucus clear. Avoid Cold drinks and alcoholic drinks.

Use an Air Humidifier

By using Air Humidifier you can keep your nasal and throat moist which are good home remedies for cold and flu.

Vitamin C

Take Vitamin C rich foods like citrus fruits, limes, oranges, grapefruits, leafy greens, that can reduce the common cold.

Gargle with Water

Gargle with water 2-3 times a days that helps the respiratory infections. Gargling with salt water may help prevent upper respiratory infections.

Chicken Soup

Chicken soup helps to protect your body from infection that is very effective for reducing the system of respiratory infections.

Ginger

In boiling water take some slices of ginger that nay help to soothe a cold.

Honey

Drinking honey in tea with lemon can also ease your sore throat is another home remedies for cold and flu.

Garlic

Garlic has antimicrobial properties.Adding some garlic into your diet may reduce the servility of cold.

Echinacea

Echinacea which is American Native herb that has active ingredients like flavonoids  reduce inflammation. In adults, consider taking 1-2 gms of Echinacea roots or herb as a tea. Take 3 times a day to lower the risk of common cold.

Warm Baths

Warm baths can also reduce cold and flu symptoms in adults.
